On one side the Pacific, on the other side the Caribbean Sea – and in between endless nature. From the untouched highlands in the west, the metropole Panama City with its world-famous channel to the colorful rainforests full of wildlife in Darien in the east. Although Panama has much and more to offer for anyone – from culture and outdoor fans, water sports or nature lovers to foodies and wellness aficionados – Panama’s diversity still is widely unknown. In addition, its modern infrastructure offers many opportunities for events, congresses and incentives. The Tocumen international airport is known as the HUB OF THE AMERICAS, with more than 2,000 weekly frequencies to more than 35 countries. The new terminal will be ready in 2018 in order to serve 25 million passengers per year. From Europe, Panama is connected with direct flights from Lufthansa, KLM, Iberia, Air France and Turkish Airlines. Most of the international hotel chains are represented in Panama, mostly also equipped with meeting and event facilities. The ATLAPA Convention Center is located in Panama City with a capacity for up to 10.500 people. The opening of new Amador Convention Center is scheduled for 2019, with a capacity for up to 25.000 people, situated right at the entrance of the Panama Canal.
